Holiday Celebration - Sunday Dec. 8th Casino Night Friday, September 27th Scotch Hills Country Club 7pm-11pm Ticket price includes Hors D´oeuvres, Buffet Dinner, Beer, Wine, Soda and $100 of Play money to start the evening. There is no actual money gambled. There will be a Tricky Tray Auction at the end of the evening. If you would like to sponsor a table or donate a prize please call Steve Goldberg at 322-5733. Wednesday October 9th 6:30pm-9pm Salt & Pepper Restaurant 503 Park Ave. Enterprise Rent A Car is helping to sponsor the evening and will be giving a short presentation on their available services and discount programs. There is a $5 charge payable at the door. Take this opportunity to meet other businesses and promote your business or service. Bring business cards and flyers to hand out. |
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Bob LaCosta from the Building Department whose Mother passed away in May; Nelson Espeland of Allstate Insurance whose Father-in-law passed away last month; and Walter DiNizo from Public Works whose Mother recently passed away... Thanks to Panther Printing for donating the Car Show Posters and Mail Boxes Etc. for donating the copies of the Car Show Brochures & Flyers... Good Luck to Nuts n´ Plenty in its new location at 381 Park Ave., in the same space as Apple Blossom Flower Shop... Thanks to the following for helping out with our Annual BBQ: John´s Meat Market, Hershey´s Deli, Brian´s Liquors, Lisa Mohn, Steve Goldberg, Janet Strunk, Bruce Yakre, Andy Calamaras, Steve Hoeckele, Jeff Stein and Joanna Marsh.
Craft & Street Fair Once Again A Success A good time was had by the many thousands of people who attended the SPBPA Car Show and Street Fair. The event helped raise money for the SPBPA Scholarship Fund.
A very special thank you to Steve Hoeckele of BeCu Mfg. who once again served as our Car Show Chairman and to Lisa Mohn of Apple Blossom Flower Shop for organizing the Craft Show. Thanks to our many Town dignitaries who were such good sports and participated in the Dunk Tank, as well as our Public Works Department, Fire Department and TV34 who all helped make the day a success. Thanks to all the businesses who were duly noted in our brochure for donating to the event especially Allstate Insurance who was our major event sponsor. And a very special thank you to the following volunteers who really make the day possible:
